Which Couple Do You Think Was the Cutest at the Oscars?
Many adorable couples made the scene at last night's Oscar festivities, from the red carpet to the after parties. New parents Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz, as well as Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, arrived to the ceremony arm in arm, much like soon-to-be mum and dad Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied. Justin Timberlake took his mum as his date to the show, but he reunited with girlfriend Jessica Biel at the Vanity Fair soirée, where Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber also cuddled up. The Oscars festivities may be over for this year, but we're still excited about all the good times that went down on Monday! Once the action on the red carpet, the stage, and in the press room was over, the stars headed off to the after parties to keep the good times rolling. Justin Bieber’s young love and PDA with Selena Gomez isn’t the only reason he’s been in the headlines lately. Before the Oscars, Justin was a talking point (more than the usual amount) because of his infamous head of hair. He got a trim, got rid of the side-swept fringe and visited Ellen DeGeneres to give her a lock of his hair. She put it up on eBay to raise funds for charity, and within an hour the bid had already hit US$10,000. The auction is now closed and the final amount has come in: a massive US$40,668! All the funds raised will go to animal rescue foundation The Gentle Barn Foundation (Ellen loves her animals!) and the winning bidder now has their own piece of Justin Bieber history.
Justin Bieber Stuck in Liverpool Hotel; Causes a Possible Riot
Justin Bieber fans are capable of anything. The latest? Blocking the teen heartthrob inside his Liverpool hotel by forming a massive crowd. Seven hours ago he tweeted, “this is crazy. there are like thousands of people out there. love everybody but gonna try and get some sleep. please dont scream. lol” and posted a picture of the growing crowd outside the hotel’s front doors. Us Weekly reports that there were thousands of screaming fans hanging around the building but TMZ says 25 guards have been called in to handle the situation and that the crowd amounts to about 500 people. However the situation has led to several streets around the area being closed off, and Justin and his entourage have been warned that they’ll be “arrested immediately for inciting a riot” if they go anywhere near the balcony, or basically do anything that could jeopardise people’s safety. Justin’s in Liverpool for his stylist’s birthday party and has apparently had to cancel plans to take a Beatles tour due to the current situation. But it wasn’t all bad news for his fans. Justin did manage to greet all of them: “that was great! got to say hi to everyone. we are following the rules. lol. #LOVEMYFANS.”
Selena Gomez Opens Up About Justin Bieber on the Radio
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez haven’t exactly come out and said, “Yes, we’re together!” but their following their cosy night out at the Oscars and Justin’s “I miss you” tweet to Selena, they can’t really deny their relationship anymore. Selena was recently interviewed on US radio station Z100 where she dished on what it was like to date one of the world’s most famous boys. In terms of being in a relationship with someone in the business, she said, “It is a lot harder, absolutely, but there is a certain connection you have when the person understands everything you’re going through.”
She also talked about the obsessive Justin fangirls who express their hate towards the ladies he’s linked to, saying, “It’s hard! It’s definitely affected me, I’ll be honest with you completely . . . It hurts. It really does. I feel like I’m not doing anything wrong. I’ve been best friends with him for a really long time. It is very hard and it does hurt my feelings a lot. But I just try not to focus on it. I have such a strong family and I have great fans.” At the same time, she joked that she understood where their hatred came from, mentioning that she used to hate Monte Carlo co-star Katie Cassidy when she dated her celebrity crush Jesse McCartney.
Justin Bieber Meets His Waxwork Match at Madame Tussauds
Justin Bieber meet . . . Justin Bieber. The 17-year-old singer had his mum, Pattie, on hand to unveil his wax figure at Madame Tussauds in London on Tuesday. Pattie posed between the two Justins as female fans got close to another version of the statue at the Times Square location. (A third one was unveiled in Amsterdam.) The statues feature a pre-haircut Justin and are all dressed in clothes the singer has worn. He tweeted his excitement at being immortalised by the famous museum, saying, “arrived at @tussaudslondon to see my WAX figure!! the 1st time i saw a wax figure was in nyc and all we could do was look thru the glass,” followed by, “now we are here in London and they r about to show my figure here and in amsterdam and in nyc at the one we looked thru the glass. #DREAMBIG.” Do you think the Justin wax figure looks like him?

Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj and More Unite For Japan
Big time music artists are banding together and using their combined star power to release a digital album that will raise funds for Japan, following the 9.0 magnitude earthquake and tsunamis that hit less than two weeks ago. Universal Music is behind the project and so far artists who will be involved include Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj, while tracks from U2 and Bon Jovi are also rumoured to appear on the album. Lady Gaga - who has already created a “Pray for Japan” bracelet - may also lend her tunes to the cause. The reason Universal is only doing a digital version is “because it is faster, and this will be a worldwide release. The plan is to have it available later this week,” says a spokesperson. Proceeds will go directly to the Japanese Red Cross.
